The tragedy is that their sacrifice has been in vain.
We no longer have freedom of speech (unless we belong to an ‘oppressed’ minority).
What rights we enjoyed as free Englishmen and Englishwomen were sold by the traitor Heath and the then Sir Humphreys for a place at the table of what has now become the European Union.
Around 80% of our legislation now originate as ‘Directives’ from the unelected, unaccountable Eurocrats, rubber stamped first by Congress of Peoples’ Deputies in Brussels and then our own Quislings in Westminster.
These directives, along with the flood of Cultural Marxist laws that has spewed forth from Westminster like an overflowing sewer in the last 10 years, are then officiously enforced by the Civil Service, Local Authorities and other former Public Services, now cowed and betrayed by their Senior Management into being agents of the Cultural Marxist State.
Why did they bother to fight to defend the people of this country from the Kaiser, then Hitler, and then stand firm in the Cold War to hold back Communism? At least then the enemy was clearly visible, and on the outside.
The ones who wish to destroy our society are now on the INSIDE, and now hold all the levers of power in this now accursed country. Like rats, they and their policies knaw away at the very fabric of our society. They seek to subvert our institutions through ‘Common Purpose’ – the new secular freemasonry of whom Cressida Dick is but one prominent member – and whose loyalty is not to Her Majesty the Queen, but to our lords and masters in Brussels who are actively plotting the ‘post-democratic’ future where future ‘leaders’ will be appointed from a self-selecting clique.
No wonder Broon et al want to see our criminally underfunded Armed Forces continue to fight two wars with inadequate numbers and equipment – it keeps them out of the country while all they hold dear is destroyed to create a Socialist Utopia, while all the time they know that while they are fiddling, the future belongs to the Islamists.

Agree with you PCSW, absolutely must never forget nor let the next generation forget either. They made far too much of a sacrifice for that & our forces are still making that sacrifice day in & day out.
