A WALK IN THE CITY
We went for a stroll around London today!!
There were quite a few of us!
We wanted certain people to take notice!
Thanks to the Met for watching over things, they did a great job!!
Even if there were a few who were jumping on our bandwagon!
We have sent our message to the Government loud and clear!
This is not the end, only the beginning!!
Watch this space for more!!

Good on you!! We were with you in spirit, since we could not be there in person.

I thought this was the queue to get a free hat from Inspector Gadget. No one said anything about a demonstration until I heard on the news. By the way, who are those three dodgy looking people without the white baseball caps on in the middle of your post ?

Nice one, 20,000 is a lot, TV news has played it down a bit,

We watched the news article during refs at work.
Well done to those on the march, I hope it makes those a**wipes in power, pay attention now.

A lot more turned up than was anticipated thankfully, it showed your strength.
Well done.

Great day out, proud to have been there. I’ll second the best wishes for the Met, they did a great job.

Yeah, the Met didn’t beat you up which is better than their usual performance, even when you broke the law about marching close to Parliament. I do hope you get the payrise along with every other public sector worker, but you’re not helping yourselves by showing off how immune to the law you are.

Excellant demo.
But I have to agree with Inspector Gadget, the media did play it down, simply because it wasn’t ‘exciting’.
In other words, there wasn’t enough violence by the groups (the far, far left) who join these demos just to cause problems and get into the news.
Great turnout though.

DM Andy, you’re talking nonsense, we are certianly not immune from the law, in fact I would argue that we are over scrutinised and cross examined on every single decision by people such as you that have not got a clue what they are talking about.

DM Andy,
we are certainly far from immune mate. As justacop pointed out, we are super scrutinised. Everyone is looking to hump us over something.
I have days at work feeling like a hunted animal !

DM Andy, the march didn’t go anywhere near the socpa zone which is the ‘illegal’ bit you have incorrectly pointed out, and even if it did all you have to do is notify the met commisioner that you intend to demonstrate anyway and it can’t be rejected unless you have previous history of, or a stated intention to use violence.
Get a clue.
