WAX CRAYON HELL

It’s about 7.30am and we are stood outside a house where intelligence says the occupant is dealing heroin. It’s not in a particularly unpleasant part of the town but this house is being occupied by someone who is particularly unpleasant.

We are about to execute a warrant under the misuse of drugs act and we have a key to the property, well it’s a key that will open many doors and often does.

Intelligence also tells us that there is a child in the building, a boy of about 9 years of age, but nothing can really prepare you for what I am about to find in this poor excuse of a home. Nothing have I ever seen before or since has made me realise how evil drugs are and how fundamental they are to the level of crime in this country.

We first try the front door and it’s locked so a quick check at the rear and the door is not locked and we are in.

The team are up the stairs and quickly secure a male and female who are in bed, the first thing you notice is the familiar stench of an environment inhabited by smack heads. Other Police officers will know what I am talking about but it’s a combination of filth, rotting food, rotting feet and something that only comes from class A use.

Then I see a small grubby faced child waking around in bare feet in a house that has not one area of floor space clear of un-capped needles. Over 2000 of them scattered all over the poor excuse for carpets, amongst used cigarette ends and anything else someone could not be bothered to find a home or a bin for. In one bedroom there is a cupboard full to the brim with used needles and the wall next to it has a trail of blood on it where people have injected their poison. We put the female in the front room where she picks up a few dog ends and makes a roll up from the remains of tobacco before putting the child in front of the TV.

Then the search begins of all rooms, I always seam to get the kitchen. My advise would be to try and avoid this room if possible.

Words can not really describe the state of this room!! Dirty plates, pans and cutlery that have been soaking in food contaminated water for weeks and weeks. Maggots crawling over all surfaces with dishes and part eaten food. No room to move in this unbelievable biohazard ridden room that would be a good start for a third world dictator for research into WMD. Then I do the unthinkable and open the oven door and get a full on punch in the face from what I can only describe as the smell of death, I start to retch at this point and only just manage to keep my breakfast where it belongs.

I finish the kitchen with a search of the bin, always a favorite place to hide drugs, but not today, just human feces as there is nowhere else to go in this house.

I then get to search the kids room which is remarkably clean and tidy when compared to the rest of the hose.

And there is a picture on the wall done in wax crayon of a small child, an adult female and a syringe drawn as large as the people in the picture.

And the words “I AM A SAD BOY” written in WAX CRAYON.

A QUICK MOAN ABOUT THE COURTS

Officers in my force have been using a common sense approach when dealing with offenders who are wanted on warrant!!
Don’t worry this has quickly been addressed by the courts and subsequently one of the civilian snotty email senders who are obviously shocked by this display of innovative thinking.
Now it’s like this. Someone fails to appear at court on the day of their hearing and the COURT issue a warrant for the said offenders arrest.
The warrant orders that a constable will arrest the offender and bring them before the court to be dealt with (slapped on the wrist if the truth is known), this should be executed and dealt with EXPEDITIOUSLY!!
Anyway some officers have been executing warrants and following the instructions of the warrant diligently and taking offenders directly to court without passing go so to speak or more accurately the Police cells. This is what we would call being dealt with EXPEDITIOUSLY.
This has provoked the courts into making complaints against police. I know I thought they were on our side too, well everyone else is making complaints and I guess they felt left out.

As a result an email was circulated that stated :-

Taking prisoners directly to court is ONLY of benefit to the Police!! the courts and CPS gain nothing!!
Well excuse us for thinking we are partners!!!!!!!!!!

This made me particularly angry as I know that the court could easily have just refused to take the prisoner and the officers would have taken him or her back to the Police cells, but the court have been accepting them and them making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Not only are we fighting the criminals, but we are now fighting the courts!!!
What next guys?

It’s a shame they don’t do the same for events such as bank holidays or other seasonal events, maybe something to do with money!!

It’s twenty five years since our brave troops fought in the Falklands conflict.
People like Simon Weston should be an inspiration to just about everyone. We should never forget those that paid the ultimate price for our country.
I was only 13 years of age but remember it as clear as yesterday. One lad who was from my village Army cadet force died in the conflict and we all felt sad at the time.
I only wish the lowlife scum on our streets would show some respect and stop lowering this country into the sewer.

POLICE ARE SPEEDING

Ok, I really thought I had to make a point here about the latest news about how many Police officers who have been caught breaking the speed limit but have not been prosecuted for whatever reason.

I read this and noticed how many people in other countries have an opinion of what goes on in our country, maybe they should but out, especially those who refer to the police as sleazy hypocrites when he comes from the USA, I think we are glad he left the UK!!!

What the report does not mention is that a large percentage of these speeding incidents are due to Police responding to an emergency call, would they prefer us to drive within the speed limit while someone may be in danger?

Further to this it is often a requirement to make progress to a job that has the potential to turn into an immediate response. You know the ones I am talking about, the job that from previous experience you know could turn nasty but is not at a point where you can justify running red lights and really going into an emergency response mode.

I bet people do not even realise that during police driver training we are instructed to drive at 20Mph over the speed limit with NO blue lights or sirens, often in a plain vehicle. This is all part of a 4 week advanced driving course with strict pass or fail assessments. Of course section 87 of the road traffic act gives Police officers some exemptions to speeding if it would hinder their duty. It is not always practical to use blues and two’s when in a hurry to an emergency such as a burglary in progress or the offenders could be alerted to the imminent Police arrival.

I am not saying that Police are always right in these cases but there are some good reasons for it. I was once following a speeding vehicle on a dual carriageway with a 50Mph speed limit when I was pinged by one of those pesky safety cameras in the back of a van. I continued to follow and pulled the speeding vehicle and informed the driver that he had probably been pinged by the camera, full pocket book entry just in case but never heard anything anyway.

I don’t know many police officers who agree with speed camera’s, they don’t catch drunk drivers, disqual drivers, drivers with no documents, travelling criminals or just drivers who are using a car with previous keeper details only. Only real Police officers in a Police car will ever do that anyway.

If the public want us to drive at the speed limit, then so be it, we may be a little late to that burglary in progress!!!

I think it’s just another case of sour grapes!! another case of how they don’t want the Police to Police.

THE UNDERCLASS

The underclass are those who provide 99% of our work and in effect keep us in work, to a certain extent anyway.
They are mentioned in other bloggs like this and this and are the source of many postings on most police bloggs.
My blood boils every month when I look at my pay slip and how much tax I have paid, knowing that a large piece of this is keeping some lazy bone idle scumbag in fags, booze, drugs and satellite TV and not to mention providing legal aid so they can have someone tell them how to wriggle out of trouble yet again.
Why do we continue to lock up the same offenders week in week out just so the courts can grant bail again, so that the dirty scrote can go out and commit more burglaries or nick more cars.
It’s also a well known fact that if you fall into this particular category of class you are exempt from certain expenses like television licences.
A mate of mine had a visit the other day from a TV licence inspector who demanded to see his licence as he had incorrect information that he did not have one. My mate lives in a nice street in a nice part of the county and is an easy target. I would love to see this inspector go into one of our HMO’s and ask the same question to just about every occupant. The thing is average Joe is being shafted by the underclass in more ways than one.

How much benefit will a male and female on a certain housing estate receive with 3 apprentice criminals living at home, that is 3 small children? enough to pay for them both to smoke 20 cigarettes a day each, a skin full of beer and sky TV. I doubt if much will find it’s way to buy the kids some decent clothes and a healthy meal!!

The country is being dictated to by the bleeding heart brigade who insist the underclass are victims and therefore need looking after, more like need locking up I recon.
Here is another example of how we end up mixing it with the underclass.
